Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lintel ("we," "our," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit lintelcode.dev or use the self-hosted Lintel software.

1. What we collect on lintelcode.dev

• Contact form submissions: name, email, company, team size, and your message. Used only to respond to your enquiry.
• Aggregate web analytics: page views and referrers via a privacy-preserving analytics tool. No cookies are set for analytics.
• Server logs: IP, user agent, and request path for 14 days, for security and debugging.

2. What the Lintel software sends us

Nothing. Lintel is self-hosted and does not phone home. We do not receive your source code, findings, scan results, or license activation events. License verification is performed locally using an Ed25519 signature.

3. Legal basis & retention

We process contact-form data under legitimate interest to respond to you, and keep it for up to 24 months unless you ask for deletion sooner. Server logs are retained for 14 days.

4. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors strictly necessary to operate the site (hosting, email delivery). We never sell personal data.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@lintelcode.dev. Residents of the EEA, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA.
