Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Lintel software ("Software") and the lintelcode.dev website ("Site"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software or the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Licenses

• Community tier: free for commercial and non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. No warranty is provided.
• Pro and Enterprise tiers: licensed under a separate commercial agreement and activated with a signed license key delivered by your account manager.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) resell or redistribute the Software without written permission; (b) remove or bypass license-verification code; (c) use the Software to attack systems you do not have authorization to test; or (d) misrepresent Lintel's outputs as the product of any other tool.

3. Intellectual property

Lintel retains all rights in the Software, rule packs, and trademarks. You retain all rights in your source code, findings, and any outputs generated by your use of the Software.

4. Data

The Software is self-hosted and does not transmit your source code or scan results to Lintel. You are responsible for securing the environment in which you run it.

5. Warranty & disclaimer

The Community tier is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Warranties for Pro and Enterprise tiers are set out in the applicable commercial agreement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lintel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software or Site.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site with a new "Last updated" date.
